METALLICA Performs 'The Shortest Straw' For First Time In 12 Years; Video Available

METALLICA performed the song "The Shortest Straw" for the first time since 1997 last night (Saturday, September 19, 2009) at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The studio version of "The Shortest Straw" was included on METALLICA's 1988 album "…And Justice For All", which has sold over eight million copies in the U.S., according to the RIAA (Recording Industry Association Of America). It was the band's first full-length LP to feature bassist Jason Newsted, who joined the group following the death of Cliff Burton.
